Things I have Learnt

Its always-funny how people accuse you of being an idealist especially when it comes to relationships. This is usually to try to ease their guilt of not putting out as much as you did. Its just a way of saying you crazy for putting this much. So they take it on their head to give you a lesson in practicality because practically they cant love you.

I have learnt that the only time phone calls are too much is when they come from the person you don’t want them from.

I have learnt that the worse people to be in a relationship are the ones who are in denial about their own issues. They are always quick to point you out as the weird one.

I have learnt that many people have a list of things they wont do in a relationship. Such a list is usually longer than the list of things they will do.

I have learnt that a kind word can clear up many a misunderstanding in relationships.

I have learnt that when you have genuine care for someone forgiveness is easy.

I have learnt that when someone means enough to you, differences can always be worked out. Truth is you don’t walk away easily from something that means a lot to you.

I have learnt that the coldest people are the ones who can see genuine love and try to find every reason why its not genuine even when its biting them in the ass..

But hey that’s what I have learnt through my idealistic view of relationships. So Sue me.
